Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company has been established as Public Private Partnership to develop the value chain from mine to market. The company aims to enhance the export through facilitation, Technology Upgradation, Skills Development, and Marketing / Branding.

COMPANY Requires Dynamic & Competent person for the following post.

"CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER"

The Incumbent will be Responsible to:

* To give direction and direction and leadership to the organization towards the achievement of its vision, strategy and goals of sector development & export growth.

* Liaison and networking with key sector organizations for encouragement, facilities and implementation of sector strategy.

* Examining research and development informational databases on latest technology.

* Establishment and continuous updating of institutional support structures for technology up-gradation, HR training and marketing / branding.

* Responsible for the smooth implementation of projects envisaged in the sector strategy through public private partnership.

* Responsible for Establishment strategic connections with private sector for effective management of various ongoing and future projects.

* Introduce quality improvement and certification support structure of gemstones and metal used in manufacturing jewellery artifact.

* Responsible to develop / improve the curriculum of the training centres of the company.

The Incumbent Should have the following:

* Master degree in Engg. / Business Administration / Material Science or related field from a reputable Pakistani or Foreign institution.

* At least 15 years experience as head of a reputable local or foreign institution.

* Understanding and exposure of project planning and implementation processes with Government organization.

* Understanding knowledge of designing and implementing projects related to technology, HR capacity building and marketing / branding preferably related to the sector.

* Demonstrated capability of interaction and balancing interests of multiple stakeholders and interest groups.

* Familiar with the corporation affairs.

* Applicant should not be below 50 years and above 57 years of age.
